My research focuses on skeletal myosin binding protein-C (sMyBP-C), a protein important of skeletal muscle contractility. I use site-directed mutagenesis to create constructs for use in fluorescent lifetime-based assays that study the structural arrangements and actin-myosin interactions of sMyBP-C.
