My research examines the interactions between cardiac myosin binding protein-C (cMyBP-C) and subfragment-2 of myosin (S2), both of which contain mutations associated with HCM. I use site-directed mutagenesis, protein purification, and fluorescence imaging techniques to quantify their interactions in vitro.
