My research interests are mainly in congenital myopathies such as nemaline myopathies and titinopathies. These are disorders of the skeletal muscles resulting in debilitating muscle impairments, preventing normal daily life activities, through different molecular mechanisms. I want to understand these molecular mechanisms in order to develop treatment for these diseases.
