I study how fast skeletal Myosin Binding Protein-C (fMyBP-C) affects myofilament structure and function. To answer these questions, I have performed single fiber mechanics experiments and small angle X-ray diffraction using a mouse model that allows for selective removal of fMyBP-C in the sarcomere.
