My research interest is in striated muscle biology and how variants in sarcomeric genes may lead to cardiac and skeletal muscle diseases. My postdoctoral work focuses on the use of biochemical techniques and physiological measurements to understand the pathophysiological effects of truncating variants in the TTN gene encoding titin.
