My research focuses on a key regulatory protein, slow skeletal myosin binding protein-C (sMyBP-C), in skeletal muscle contractility.  I use fluorescent lifetime-based techniques to study changes in the structural arrangements and intramolecular disorder of sMyBP-C N-terminal domains due to phosphorylation.
