After studying muscle mechanics at all structural hierarchies starting from human/animal muscle in-vivo, muscle fibre bundles/single fibres, down to single myofibrils, titin has become one of my favorite proteins that I want to further explore. My current research interests include revealing titin’s contribution in the muscle contraction mechanism and understanding titin’s role related to skeletal muscle diseases.
